SE3 designed the replacement bridge for 155th Street over a tributary of Lumpkin’s Fork Creek. The scope of work included preparing plans to remove and replace the existing wooden bridge, which had begun to collapse. The City of Raymore needed to widen this one-lane bridge to a two-lane bridge to match the width of the existing street cross-section. A five-foot-deep scour due to erosion at the downstream end was identified and was addressed as part of the bridge design. Additionally, design and construction needed to be coordinated with the City of Raymore’s planned resurfacing of 155th Street.
