The projects included evaluating Route B (4.5 miles long) and Route 763 (2 miles long) corridors. These evaluations determined necessary improvements required to assure that the corridors met the most current MoDOT ADA Compliance Requirements. Specifically, the project included replacement of over 200 curb ramps and 2,500 feet of sidewalk and milling and overlaying existing asphalt pavement.

As a subconsultant, SE3 assisted with designing several of the ramps. We also assisted with striping plans, traffic control, pavement marking, traffic signal modification plans, traffic phasing, temporary signing, ADA considerations, wiring diagrams, and sequencing the diagrams for two public roadways.

Complexities: We were asked after the contract was awarded to include bicycle lane markings on the Route B project. This required careful coordination to assure that the changes were incorporated properly. SE3 was able to modify both the pavement marking plans and the signal plans, and changes were incorporated into the overall project.
