North Central DuPage Regional Trail – Pratts Wayne Woods Forest Preserve

 
SE3 served as a subconsultant and completed Design Engineering services for the new North Central DuPage Regional Trail located in the Pratts Wayne Woods Forest Preserve. Pratts Wayne Woods Forest Preserve is located in DuPage County on the north side of Army Trail Road and on the west side of Munger Road. The new trail starts at the Illinois Prairie Path to the south and ends near the intersection of Forest Preserve Drive and Munger Road to the north. The total project length was 1.73 miles. 

The scope of the project included:

• ADA Detail Sheets were prepared for five curbs ramps for crosswalks at Munger Road, Army Trail Road, and Forest Preserve Drive
• Prepared erosion control plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Completed Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
• Outlet Protection was designed for multiple culverts that cross underneath the proposed trail
