Job Title: Project Engineer (Structural) Job Location: Lisle, IL Job Category: Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: SE3 is a growing transportation engineering firm with a strong emphasis in roadway design and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), with offices in Missouri, Illinois, Texas, Kansas, and Colorado. We are currently looking for an applicant to report at our Lisle, IL office to perform and document bridge and related structural design services. The primary duties of the Structural Engineer will include completing detailed design calculations and preparation of contract bid documents including drawings, specifications and cost estimates for bridges, culverts, retaining walls and other transportation related structures and/or roadway projects. Additional roles include assisting in the project planning with development of Concept Reports, Bridge Condition Reports (BCR) and Type, Size and Location (TSL) plans. Field duties include assisting in the inspection of in-service bridges, retaining walls and other structures. Some travel may be required. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering from an accredited program. • A Master’s degree in structural engineering from an accredited program is desired but not required. • A minimum of 3 years of bridge structural design experience. • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering (PE) license with the ability to obtain a Structural Engineering (SE) license within 3 years. Candidates with a Structural Engineering (SE) license are preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Computer Skills: Microstation and MS Office. Experience with structural design and analyses software preferred. • Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Illinois Tollway design standards preferred

SE3, LLC seeks Project Engineer (Dallas, TX) to work on variety of transportation projects. Develop plans and specifications for roadway construction. Perform hydraulic studies and safety studies. Plan and design data collections, evaluations, and analysis activities. Utilize automated roadway/structural hydraulic design programs and computer assisted design/engineering systems. Prepare removal plans and various other removal items. Prepare drawings, specifications, and details for all sign and pavement markings. Utilize Microstation and GeoPak/Open Roads for TxDOT roadway designs. Requires Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Must have Texas Professional Engineer License.
